An interview is the MOST important step to finding an employment or an opportunity. While our education, certificates and achievements are important , they tend to take a back seat while we are assessed purely on what we do during and interview and how we respond to the interview questions to get considered for the job or opening.
A little bit of research work and preparation helps a lot while responding to questions in an interview.
Some sample questions are given here to help you prepare :
- General Questions (prepare well for this segment)
- Tell me about yourself
- What are your goals ? (long term and short term)
- Tell me your strengths and weaknesses
- Tell me about your experience / studies
- How did you become interested in subject/industry (e.g. Automobile sector)
- Behavioral Questions (take care in answering these )
- How do you handle change?
- Tell me about a decision you made recently and how did you reached it

You may face a few of these type of questions or even others - it is better to prepare well and make sure that your answers are well rehearsed and you are able to communicate freely without any problems. Remember a candidate with poor communication skills never gets selected even if his educational credentials are excellent.
