Read, Watch and Play. These three strategies will help you immensely.
1) Read- Read as much as you can. Not necessarily English newspapers only but also reading magazines, articles, Facebook stories and posts, blogs and even comic books will help. So just read anything which interests you and mark new words to dig out their meanings and usage.
2) Watch- I think anything which gives you joy will also give you fastest learning. So watch movies, sitcoms, youtube series, Netflix documentaries etc. with subtitles and enjoy while you learn.
3) Play- By play I meant to Practice. If you are only going to be at the receiving end you are not going to ever get fluent in any language. So make sure whatever you learn by reading or watching, you apply in your daily conversations. If you have people in your friend circle or at your workplace, who speak English, start connecting with them more. If you are scared that they might make fun of you or you simply don't have anybody to practice, message me I will connect you to a person as your English Practice buddy, who is sailing in the same boat as you are, to practice and improve together.
