Started teaching GRE/SAT at IEE(International Educational Exchange) in Delhi in 2003-04. Enjoyed the experience and interaction with the students. Probably my students also did, because they requested for me to teach them after I had to leave IEE temporarily owing to a personal emergency. I try to make lessons interesting e.g, while teaching vocabulary I used to tell stories and background of the origin of words and I think that used to stick on in the minds of students. For online teaching I have a strong broadband connection that supports Skype.

I started teaching for SAT in 2003 while working at a Delhi based coaching cum counseling center called International Educational Exchange (IEE). I used to teach Verbal and set papers for mock tests, and clear doubts for both Verbal and Quant. Post that I used to take private tuitions for a few years. Then I was associated with a New York based institute called Manhattan Elite Prep(MEP), I taught both Verbal and Quant for GRE, SAT and GMAT for them. I enjoy teaching and my teaching style is interactive, I encourage students to think for themselves. While teaching vocabulary, I tell stories about the roots and origins of certain words, my students enjoy that and I feel that it helps them learn better. I like teaching languages the most. I have experience from a KG student to working professionals. I have taught In India as well as in Jakarta, Indonesia.

I have an innate interest in languages especially English and in teaching which I may have inherited from my mother who has been an English teacher in a public school in Delhi. I have been teaching on an amateur level as a tutor for over 20 years. I have taught for GRE/SAT/GMAT professionally with an institute in Delhi (called International Educational Exchange) and also with a New York based institute(called Manhattan Elite Prep). I have taught middle school students as well as working professionals. I am told that I have an interactive, adaptive(different students have different needs and capabilities, so it is important for a teacher to have that much flexibility) and interesting style of teaching. I like to intersperse my teaching with anecdotes and stories where applicable.
