IdentityAs an academic, I believe that being relevant in changing times is essential to delivering value.
My cumulative work experience is around twelve-years. As an employee, I operated in the roles of business analyst, six-sigma consultant, and operations manager often developing ideas, products and processes, involving in research that drove economic outcomes, and involving in upskilling programs. As a freelance consultant, I conducted baselining and benchmarking studies, did performance assessments mostly of earmarked functions of organizations, investigated and developed business cases, offered training on technologies, delivered talks to blue- and white-collared staff during business transitions, and offered advisory services to startups. As an academic administrator, I handled affairs such as accreditations, implementing learning management systems, entrepreneurship development, industry-institute interactions, library upgradation, and the budget for research and development.
I read philosophy, yet dig for patterns in data; tell stories, yet hypothesize concepts; delve into history of innovation, yet explore new technologies and ways to use them effectively; study the theory in design of experiments, yet standardize complex business processes; admire the occult math, yet strive to practice empiricism in its classical form; dream of writing fiction, but mostly work on documentation related to business cases; and I watch Sherlock Holmes, not Game of Thrones.
