"It was a fast paced learning experience, fast speaking and moving us to self learning. Lots of interesting conversations and hope it’s all worth it. Sometime, accent to fully understand is bit challenging plus the fastest speaking wasn’t helpful. It’s always good to check for understanding of students and not assume. Everyone is different and has different learning styles. "

"DevOps course by Raghu was an incredibly enriching experience. The course covered a wide range of essential topics that are crucial for anyone looking to pursue a career in DevOps. The course started with a solid foundation in Linux. A major highlight was learning automation with scripting languages like Shell and Python. The automation tool Ansible really stood out. This course also introduced me to Terraform, which is a game-changer for provisioning cloud infrastructure in a declarative way. Writing Terraform scripts to create AWS resources was not only practical but also gave me hands-on experience in managing infrastructure efficiently. We managed our repositories using the Version Control System GitHub. Niche technologies like Docker were also covered. Docker’s role in making applications portable and scalable in any environment was emphasized. Building on Docker, we dove into Kubernetes, which is an essential tool for managing containerized applications at scale. Learning Kubernetes helped me understand the critical components of orchestrating large-scale applications in modern cloud-native environments. The course covered Prometheus and Grafana, which are widely used for monitoring and visualizing metrics in DevOps pipelines. We had a deep dive CI/CD, with practical exercises using ArgoCD and SonarQube. GitOps was also covered for Kubernetes deployments with ArgoCD, ensuring our deployments are consistent and reliable. To bring everything together, we provisioned infrastructure on AWS, which was a great way to understand how cloud infrastructure is provisioned and managed. This DevOps course gave me a comprehensive understanding of the tools and practices used in modern software delivery pipelines. The hands-on labs and real-world use cases made learning practical. The course was well-structured, and the way Raghu answered my questions gave me great clarity on the topic. "
