Overview

How I started teaching:
I started helping my friends with academics. While clearing their doubts and explaining concepts I noticed that my grip over the concepts and subject matter increased and I started to like teaching and explaining them. I could correlate things easily. Also my main approach was understanding the purpose(applications in few cases)

Approach to Engineering Studies:
Apart from first year mathematics and programming subjects in Electronics and Communication one should start with (While preparing for exams don't get too far away from university prescribed syllabus) Network Theory-->Signals and Systems-->Control Systems-->Digital Electronics(Circuits)-->Electronic Devices & Circuits-->Analog Electronics(Circuits)-->Analog Communications--->Digital Communications-->Electromagnetic Theory and Antennas--->Maths and Some Aptitude. Use standard texts for reference (contact to know about textbooks to be referred for the above mentioned subjects, I'll reply as soon as I get free[I can only guide about ECE]).

I'm preparing for the GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam. This exam deals with the technical, mathematical aspects of our engineering studies and apart from this even aptitude. So during the course of preparation I happen to learn in depth of my engineering subjects.

1st know the syllabus
2nd clear concepts
3rd Practising problems(if it is a mathematical subject) or practical approach(if its a theoretical subject)

How do I clear 10 backlogs in my BTech?

First of all change your perspective towards your backlogs. Your backlogs gave chance for you to increase your CGPA and moreover time to understand your engineering subjects. Now 10 subjects, write down them in ascending order i.e. from the most basic subjects to the advanced subjects. 10 subjects... ...more

First of all change your perspective towards your backlogs. Your backlogs gave chance for you to increase your CGPA and moreover time to understand your engineering subjects. 

Now 10 subjects, write down them in ascending order i.e. from the most basic subjects to the advanced subjects. 10 subjects ---> 2 sem exams ----> 5 subjects + 5 subjects -----> so 1st sem, 1st 5 subjects in that list ----> now you might have around 4 months for exams, start with 1st two subjects, 1st month( 1st two subjects), 2nd month(3rd and 4th subject), 3rd month(5th subject + start of revision) , 4th month (revision) . Start two subjects at a time, 1st half of the day one subject, other half next subject. 

By following a planned schedule you will not just clear your backlogs, you will master the subjects.

How do I get into ISRO or DRDO after completing a BTech in ECE?

ISRO conducts its own exam to recruit Engineers for Scientist C and other posts with pay around 57,000/- while to get into DRDO you need to clear the GATE exam in your respective branch of engineering and apply to DRDO.
