"Uma Maheswari garu is a very learned teacher. She explains every detail about each raaga and it's swaras in detail. While teaching she also covers theory related to that particular lesson. She created interest in music to me as a teacher with her excellent teaching techniques like revisiting the basics regularly and making me realise the importance of it. She suggests about several vocal exercises as well which has improved my pitch. Highly recommended teacher as she is extremely patient while she teaches and corrects even the minutest mistakes. "
