It really doesn't matter what strings we use. The sound depends on the way we play the guitar and also the health of those strings. So, dont worry about the brand of the strings...just enjoy the music you play!

Well, considering the season changes and the effect of these changes on the strings, I would recommend changing strings for every 4-5 months would do better.

Do compose music (even if it is a small melody line) daily, so that you can understand which combinations work and which won't. Learn the softwares and their usages and apply them on to your music. Keep learning. Keep practicing. And trust in the process!

As time passes and as the seasons changes, the strings undergo many temperature changes and eventually, gets corroded. Hence they become worse. And that is the reason, it is recommended to change strings for every four months.
