As you are from Mechanical stream, I suggest Performance Testing because it is the only career for which necessary programming skills are enough while offering excellent career prospects. DevOps need shell scripting and are vast. Whereas learning LoadRunner, JMeter is good enough with some monitoring & Analysis sufficient to enter into Performance Testing.
