My career as an english language trainer started in 2009 soon after the completion of my graduation. I was trained by a corporate firm called ILM PVT. Ltd based out of Bangalore for a month on communication skills, personality development, teaching methodologies and so on. I was placed in Kerala in the first year of my career as a voice and accent trainer. After an year I was transfered to Tamil nadu there I worked as communication skills trainer for three years. Post that I came to Andra Pradesh and worked as a teacher trainer and an English Teacher for 3 years. From there I came to Hyd and continued my journey in the same field since 2009 as an English Language Trainer/Voice and Accent Trainer. I have undergone TKT exam when I was in Bangalore and scored a band of 4 out of 8. There were many a times where I was appreciated for my work and loved by my trainees. I belive in training rather than teaching. It must involve two way interaction. Our methodologies are activity based and result oriented.

Hi Raja, I appreciate your desire in learning to speak the language. Before going any further, let me ask you a question, to learn anything, you must have a mindset and commitment. My question is this, how committed are you? Are you ready to take the pain that's involved in the process? If so, here are the best four tips to master the language.

1. Listen to the people who speak English better than you do. And imitate them with the phrases and words you learnt from them.

2. Speak as much as possible even if you are bad at grammar concepts. Though it is right or wrong, keep on speaking never listening to naysayers and never scared or afraid of being judged of your English.

3. Read as much as possible. I recommend you to read moral stories. Children bedtime story books or comics to get started. Though you understand it or not just keep reading and write down the meanings of unfamiliar words (you don't have to by-heart) write them down and understand the meaning of the context.

4. Start writing your diary. Start writing your daily activities or the best moments of the day before you go to sleep. It will help you remember the words you learnt during the day.

If you stick to the steps above, you will master the language, and you will be able to communicate effectively and effortlessly.

Hello Komal, Of course you can learn to speak English without any facility but remember it may take ages for you to communicate effectively. You may learn grammar and some of the aspects of it, but you will only end up with the knowledge of rules of English. But that's not the case, if you want to speak English fluently then you have got to speak whether the sentences you use are correct or incorrect. Kids learn to speak in their mother tongue by observing the people who speak English around him and just imitate them. The same happens here as well. If you wanna be an effective communicator observe people who speak English and imitate them. Watch English movies, read small story books and speak in English with the people around you. But lemme tell you something, a journey of two kilometers takes two years to reach without a mentor or guidance. But the same journey hardly takes an hour with the right guidance and mentor. So choose for yourself a mentor to train you on communication skills. Good luck.
