You can take it in Hindi . You can take it in English also . Yet you can take in Hinglish ( Hindi English mix ) . It doesn't matter what language you speak so long as you display your knowledge and decency, and if they understand it .

If you mean Sir as in a teacher then you can use "guruji". "Mahoday" and "Shreeman" are other ways to say Sir in general.
