They have similarities in grammar, vocabulary, and many words, but they use different scripts. Hindi uses the Devanagari script, while Urdu uses the Nastaliq script. Additionally, some words are different in Hindi and Urdu.

 

So, while Hindi and Urdu have some similarities, they are two distinct languages.
