I started teaching English in 2001 as a school teacher and since then there's no looking back and now I have completed more than 15 years in same segment. Though I started as school teacher but as India was growing hub for BPOs at that time; I joined a small time BPO as a soft-skills & voice & accent trainer. I was totally involved in skill development for English Language majorly focusing on listening & speaking; accent neutralization and soft-skills. I love everything about teaching, most importantly it gives me opportunity to look at things from wider perspectives. As my learners comes from varied socio-economic background, I get different purview of a topic we may be discussing. I am a learner-centered, flexible and adaptable teacher, I give my learners lead in their learnings. I use lots of different teaching activities, I feel comfortable teaching both young learners & adults. I conduct teacher training sessions for my peers and juniors. I believe that the environment affects both teachers and learners therefore try to make it conducive for them.
