Teaching Experience in detail in Spoken English classes
I am a British Council certified Spoken English trainer with over 4 years of experience in teaching teenagers and young adults. I believe in practicing more and focus less on theoretical concepts. My classes are usually focused on providing maximum speaking time to the students and helping them identify and rectify their mistakes.

Spoken English Age group of student:16 yrs to 25 yrs Preferred language of instruction:Hindi to English,Kannada to English Level I want to learn:Advanced
"As a student from Jaipur aiming for higher education abroad, my biggest hurdle wasn’t academics it was speaking English confidently. I could write essays well, but interviews and casual conversations terrified me. My accent, my pauses, my fear of mistakes everything held me back. Smith Sir’s coaching was a game-changer. Here’s how he helped: Interview Mastery Mock sessions replicated real university interviews tough questions, quick thinking, and feedback that fixed my weak spots. Fluency Over Perfection: Instead of obsessing over grammar, he trained me to speak naturally like how students abroad actually talk. Accent Neutralization: No fake "American" accent just clear, confident pronunciation so I’m understood anywhere. Cultural Prep: Taught me informal phrases, campus slang, and how to handle group discussions like a pro. The Result? I aced my university interview, got my visa approval, and now chat with classmates abroad without hesitation. "

Spoken English Age group of student:16 yrs to 25 yrs Preferred language of instruction:Marathi to English Level I want to learn:Basic
"I’m from maharashtra. In my town, everyone speaks marathi. My english knowledge was only from books. When I got into mba, I panicked. How to speak in class? In interviews? My mind would go blank. Smith sir understood. He said, “stop translating marathi to english in your head. Think in english.” we practiced small talk, mock interviews, and group debates. He made me speak even when I messed up. No shame. Now? My english isn’t perfect, but I can talk. I gave a presentation last week—hands shaking, but I finished! In gds, I speak 2-3 times, not just stay quiet. Sir taught me to pause and speak clearly, not fast. Biggest win? Last month, I explained a project to my professor without stuttering. He said, “good work.” that “good work” felt like a trophy. If you’re from a small town and scared of english, go to smith sir. He’ll make you believe you can."

Interviewing skills comprises of three things:
1. Knowledge of the subject
2. Knowledge of yourself
3. Presentation of the above two.
The first one is easy to master. One must simply revise key concepts in their area of expertise.
The second one is slightly difficult. One must know their strengths, weaknesses, vision for the future, their ability to work in team, their leadership potential. This requires one to introspect a lot.
The third one is presentation. How do you articulate your answers. One key way to improve this is by writing your answers down and then practicing in front of a mirror.
Othe way to work on it is to record yourself on camera while you imagine yourself answering questions. Make sure you appear confident through your body language.
