Sustainable development refers to the achievement of economic development by careful and judicial utilisation of the natural resources so that the present generations needs are fulfilled with without compromising that of the future generation.  India has taken following steps to achieve the aim of sustainable development :

a. population control measures

b. use of environmental supportive fuel

c. use of solar and wind energy

d. recycling and ban on plastic bags e. pollution tax and fines 

f. use of the input efficient technology.

Pakistan adopted a mixed economy system where both public sector and private sector mutually works for the development of a country . It introduced various policies:-

a. like in import substitution

b. Promotion of domestic industries

c. policies regarding the taxes and tariffs

c.policies regarding the import control

d. Introduction of green revolution to modernize the agricultural sector and to increase the agricultural system.

Yes, China's rapid industrial growth can be traced back to its reform in 1978 because reforms in agriculture in establishment of infrastructure in the areas of education and health land reforms had been taking place with the introduction of green proletarian cultural revolution ariy during the year 1966 - 67 .China introduced reforms in phases after 1978 in the initial phase reforms were initiated in agriculture foreign trade and investment sectors in the later phase reforms were initiated in the industrial sector private sector forms and township and village enterprises were allowed to produce goods the reform process was also involve dual pricing.
