"I went to Dr. Gargi not just for music classes but for a bigger concern. I was suffering from some voice problem lately and after various visits with my ENT specialist and speech therapist, my doctor suggested me to find a good vocalist and start practising. I found Dr. Gargi on UrbanPro with the only criteria of being close to my location. Fortunately, she is best I could meet at that time. She had listened to the issues I was facing very patiently and made me practised accordingly. If anyone wants to learn music with a teacher who is really calm and hardworking with you then Dr. Gargi is a perfect choice for being this knowledgeable yet humble person. "

"I am taking lessons from Gargi ma'am for the last 5 months now. I liked how she asks and understands the goals I have from her classes. I got a lot better since I joined her classes. She gives genuine feedbacks and keeps suggesting areas to improve. There is ample encouragement from her side as well, I started putting videos on youtube on her advice. She has a wide knowledge across genres, whether it is Hindustani classical, old Hindi songs or modern Bollywood pop. There is a lot to learn from her. Lastly, I like her relaxed nature, I am slightly introvert, but it was not an issue at all, she creates a very nice, easy-going atmosphere. "

"I had no prior experience in Indian classical vocals and wanted to improve my voice. It’s been one year learning vocals from Gargi ma’am. Have learnt 4 raagas along with Taane and aalaap. My aim was to improve my voice quality and vocal range which ma’am has made me work upon. There has been a lot of improvement in my vocal range with regular practice of kharaj and upper scales. I’m now also posting cover song videos on YouTube. Will recommend these vocal sessions to both beginners and even vocalists to maintain vocal range and further improve singing skills. "

"She's phenomenal with her job and have always been extremely patient and sweet even the student(specifically talking about me here) keeps on making the silliest of mistakes again and again. I always loved music but was too afraid to sing in front of others and thought of myself to be more of a bathroom singer but thanks to her, I am getting confident and comfortable with my own voice. Learning from you has by far been the best decision I made and I can feel the significant improvement after each session. Thanks a lot for all the help and patience ma'am."

Hindustani Music Classes

"I have tired learning before and no teacher made me go above b scale which is quite low for male voice. Even in c my voice used to get choked at higher sa. In one month with Gargi ji I have been able to touch f scale till the higher sa. Extremely patient and in addition to just the voice she keeps reminding you about various other factors which we don't realise for eg if we making odd faces while singing which can become a habit she slowly guides to keep your face normal and various other points which we would ignore don't slip her attention. She will not use cut copy paste for her students. She over first two days analysed my strong points and weak points and then made a target plan to achieve them Also in voice training she tries various combinations to see how a student can pick the best way and sing to his best ability. I am glad I started learning under her guidance and can see good improvement in a very short span of time. "
