"Ashutosh Sir helped me transition from law to data science. Even though both subject matters are poles apart, he was successfully able to help and guide me to the other side. He patiently taught me via online classes on Google Meet almost every day for 1.5 years straight. Since it was conducted online, he made sure to record the sessions in case I ever needed to refer to them in the future.The course was approached very systematically and at a very comfortable pace. I never felt rushed to move ahead or skip topics. He made sure to do his research on popular datasets to work on and other books / study material to teach from. When he felt I was ready, he assigned small projects for me to work on and was encouraging of my efforts even when I was unable to complete the task. In such situations, he made it a point to discuss the assignment before moving on to the next topic. His calm personality made it easier for me to raise questions or doubts I may have had during the classes. Today, after 1.5 years of consistent classes with Ashutosh Sir along with the constant effort of seeking and applying for Data Science positions on multiple platforms, I have managed to successfully transition to the field of Data Science in the U.S. market. Neither, although insights about the raw data can be gleaned from both, programmatically manipulating data and visualisation for model building is best done in R or Python or other analytical frameworks. Statistical analysis is possible in both Tableau, and Power BI using both built-in and user-defined functions, followed by visualisation, however further manipulations such as missing value imputation, outlier treatment, WoE analysis etc. are better handled in a data analytics framework.
