The sound it produces is fuller, and has more depth (but less sustain) than the acoustic guitar, whose tone has a more metallic, ringing quality. The sound it produces is fuller, and has more depth (but less sustain) than the acoustic guitar, whose tone has a more metallic, ringing quality.
