I would recommend to get a chord book which can get from any music store or online

Start practicing D major and A major and E major chords ..once you are comfortable select an easy rhythm pattern ..and try to play all the chords together ..once you are fluent ...go for G,C,D all majors ...the same way as above ...and finally go for bar chords ...
