Here are my few tips on guitar lessons for beginners.

1. Learn how to hold guitar, knowing names and parts of guitar. Names of strings

2. Easy chromatic exercise( 1234 ) 

3. Ascending And descending finger exercise ( eg. 1243/ 1324)

4. Understanding fretboard and learning notes from 5&6 strings.

5. Learning how to read chord charts

6. Learning how to count beats with metronome

7.Learning basic strumming 

      (eg. 1234 / 1&2&3&4&)
