3. Electrochemistry- Types of cell- Electrolytic cell and electrochemical cell, nerst equation, SHE, primary and secondary cell, fuel cell and corrosion.
4. Chemical Kinetics- rate of reaction, rate constant, order and molecularity of the reactions. Zero, first and second order reactions.
5.Surface Chemistry- Absorption, adsorption, sorption, physisorption and chemisorption.
6. General Principles of isolation and extraction of metals
7. P- block elements
8. D and F block elements
9. Co ordination Chemistry
10. Haloalkane and Haloarenes
11. Alcohols, phenols and ethers
