The IELTS General Training test is for those who are going to English speaking countries for secondary education, work experience or training programs. It is also a requirement for migration to Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. The test focuses on basic survival skills in broad social and workplace contexts.
IELTS assessment is to evaluate proficiency in four skills – Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. While Speaking and Listening assessments are same for applicants appearing for Academic or General Training module, Reading and Writing are different.
Since the batch size in my training classes are small, needs of the students are addressed and the course is customised to fulfil the requirement of each student. If a student is needs focus on one skill more than other, the same is kept into consideration and more practice sessions are planned for that particular skill.
All a student is required to carry for class, is stationery. The course material is provided to them.
