"Actually, I was looking for light music lessons on UrbanPro about 9 months ago, and that's when I got introduced to Dr. Rajesh. During our conversation, he told me about voice culture and explained that he would train my voice to be suitable for both classical and light music. Until then, I had met many music teachers, but none had ever discussed voice culture. For the past 9 months, I have been taking classes with Dr. Rajesh, and I can feel the changes in my voice—the added sweetness and the improvement in breathing techniques while singing. Dr. Rajesh teaches with great patience and calmness, and I eagerly look forward to every class with him."

"I have been learning Hindustani vocal music from Dr. Rajesh Sharma, and the experience has been transformative. His teaching technique is truly unique and stands apart from other instructors I have encountered. Dr. Sharma has an incredible ability to break down complex concepts in a way that is both approachable and deeply insightful. He emphasizes not just technical perfection but also the emotional connection with swars, which makes learning with him a deeply immersive experience. His dedication to his students and his passion for music shine through in every lesson. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to develop a profound understanding of Hindustani classical music "

"I have been learning vocal Hindustani classical music from Dr Rajesh Sharma since May 2023. I got to know him thru UrbanPro, during the course of my search for a tutor and I’m really happy that I decided to go with him. So thank you UrbanPro! Dr Sharma or ‘Sir’ as I address him, is definitely well qualified as is evident from his credentials. But what impresses me, always, is his grasp, depth and mastery of the subject that I think is not just academic. It stems from an obsessively inquiring mind that pushes him to the deep end, to research and resolve all the questions that crop up on the subject. The result is an impressive warehouse of information that keeps expanding and one that he so easily accesses to answer any queries one has on the subject. His teaching techniques are, again, well researched and honed. So if you’re stuck in some place, he changes track to get you unstuck without you even realising it. He uses simple and illustrative analogies from our day-to-day life to explain a complex musical concept, that then becomes so easy to comprehend. His understanding of ‘voice culture’ is just as intense as his knowledge of music and I’ve learned a great deal about it from him. He’s blessed with an incredibly sonorous voice that impresses instantly, and stays with you long after. Here again, I’m sure he has worked on it relentlessly to get to where it is today. In short, there are no short cuts with Sir. He’s one helluva serious teacher and expects that dedication from his students. I think the ‘sanskaars’ that Sir inherited initially, and then mindfully amassed along the way, are what make him such a great teacher and set him distinctively apart. And I’m really lucky to have him as a guide on this path. So ‘thank you very much’ Sir, from the depths and may you flourish abundantly! "

Already given answer is a complete rough and wrong answer. Indian classiscal music has evolved with a gradual trend of evolution of music. The roots of Indian music can be seen in Vedas as well. Tansen was a great vocalist but music has much bigger roots than this. Indian music can also be found in the Hindu epics like Ramayana and many more. There are lot of facts about music and certainly one period cannot be said as it's origin time, so is a person.
