Key-1 Concept Development: – Student should develop their conceptual knowledge thoroughly by understanding the basics and Fundamentals of the subject. This may be done by self study, group study or by joining classroom program at some reputed institute that will enhance your Rank in the competitions.
Key-2 Doubt Clearance:- After concept development, student should try to master the concept by referring their class notes or by clearing their doubts from their faculty. Also, for profound understanding of the particular topic, the student can refer some reputed books of their subject.
Key-3 Practice:- This is the most essential phase of your preparation and the students must focus on practise religiously. Students should solve the previous years Gate Question Paper topic-wise that helps the students to understand the level of the questions. Try to solve as many mock-test papers as possible. This is the best and effective way to keep improving as you prepare for GATE. You must set up a real test environment while solving papers with no breaks, no disruption and try to solve the paper within 3hrs.
Key-4 Assessment:- After practising , the students should assess their performance by actually joining the All India online test series that gives them the All India Rank, Gate score , Gate marks and Gate percentile similar to the actual GATE Exam.
Key-5 Revision:- Finally, you should revise only those weak areas where you have not scored in the test report. These weak areas will be shown in the Performance Report in the form of pie charts and graphs.
