It was a good experience specially when I saw the students taught by me speaking fluently without any hesitation with proper pauses and emphasis on the words. Its always satisfying to go along with the students and give them support during their learning process it gives them confidence to speak in public. In the starting every student hesitate to communicate in English, but if they get support from their teacher they will learn quickly otherwise they will not emerge as a confident speaker. This is what I experienced, I never encourage students to make fun of others who are not well versed with the language, instead I love to correct them then and there. I start my sessions with a mix of both languages (Hindi and English), just to make the students comfortable otherwise students will never be able to understand and my purpose of teaching them will not achieve, so my first priority during the sessions is to make students comfortable, to give them confidence and freedom to speak, this is what we call 'ice breaking' sessions, which gives a friendly environment to both the teacher and the student as well. After that the students give response in a friendly environment, and learn very quickly. The kind of experience I am having will surely going to help many students who want to become good speakers/ orators/ motivators etc. Sometimes students don't know the pronunciation or the meaning of the words that we use during our sessions, there we need to give them the freedom and courage to ask, ask frequently, because this is what we are there for!
