It is a great step to pursue MBA after Engineering. But I would recommend gaining a little professional experience first and then opt for MBA.
Even though most of the Indian people end up doing MBA within 3 years of there engineering, a few of us wait for gaining rich experience of 5–6 years and than do an MBA, which is typically the norm in foreign countries. Many of the people opting for MBA at such a stage of career are those who are passionate about technology but want to learn and contribute to business. A business degree is the perfect bridge to make a transition from tech role to a techno-commercial role.
