Western Vocal Music Classes

"Swati Ma'am has been my Vocal coach for six years (2014 - 2019). In those six years, she's very patiently honed my skills as a singer, and has also significantly contributed to my growth as a person. A major plus point was that she managed to identify my capabilities in singing, and gradually helped me broaden them. Though I do not currently take classes, I still seek her guidance for songs I practice on my own, and for events. I strongly recommend her to anybody in search of quality training in Vocals, and a teacher who will make you wish to pursue music further, and make your training worth it! "

"I studied western vocals under Swati for around 3 years (when I was 22-25). She is a wonderful teacher, and took me through sight singing, ear training, vocal techniques, music appreciation, basic piano lessons, and lots more. She is very encouraging, but does not hesitate to point out mistakes, which pushes you to improve. She has helped me with many, many problem areas, and I am a better singer and musician thanks to her. I now know how to approach and learn new songs, and have a much better understanding of my own voice. I have also been introduced to so many new artists! Swati is incredibly disciplined in her own life, which is bound to rub off on her students as well. I am very grateful for everything she has taught me, and do not hesitate to recommend her highly. "I've been learning from swati ma'am for about 2 years now. Initially I was pretty bad, I couldn't sing on pitch, I didn't have dynamics, I didn't even know what pitching and dynamics meant. In these two years, I have drastically improved. She focuses on the details and analogies and even talks about the psychology that goes behind not being able to sing something. You should definitely learn from her. "

"I am 26 years old and I have been taking Western Music classes from Ms. Swati Jain for the past two and a half years. She is a very good singer and a wonderful teacher. A few things that I loved about her teaching style were as follows. Firstly, as a teacher, Swati has a fine sense of explaining complex ideas in music theory by breaking them down according to the grasping power of the student. Her classes neither feel rushed nor slow as she patiently adjusts her pace with every student. Secondly, I feel music training requires you to repeatedly practice a single thing to achieve some level of fluency in the same. Swati ensures that her students spend appropriate time in developing this fluency by actively engaging in the process with the student. This is one thing that has made my musical journey much more successful than it had been with other teachers before. Lastly, Swati is a very interesting person and apart from music, she teaches you a lot of other things connected to music in her classes. For instance, Swati helped me work quite a lot on my posture as it was something very crucial for good singing. She told me specific exercises that helped me improve my posture. I wholeheartedly recommend Swati as a teacher to anyone looking to learn music and maybe a few other things in life. "

"I started taking lessons to improve my vocal abilities and to learn new western techniques. Miss Swati is well versed with the dynamics and the texture of the voice which is essential for every vocalist regardless of their genre. Although I only took classes for 4 months, I noticed an improvement in my vocal range and a balance in my voice. She is pretty friendly too and would help out by combining metaphors with vocal exercises, which makes it so much easier to understand difficult concepts. I would recommend these classes to anyone who wants to learn western vocals and techniques. "

"Ms SwatiJain is an excellent. Music teacher with a sound knowledgeof Music vocals and piano I have been learning for 2 years now and this is my third year of learning. She has guided me through the basics of vocals and now she she is training me for Rock school vocals grade 2.exam. She is encouraging-and proactive in her teaching and trains students to achieve their best with her clear instructions and fun methods. I have grown as a learner under her as I also learn to sing poetry from her which I use in my classroom teaching. I am a High school teacher teaching English in Ramjas public school.
