Personally I do practice different types of yoga out of passion and learning in a regular basis on and off the class. There are some teacher do not follow this way because of -fear of over exercise and over basal metabolic rate causing abnormal weight lose -due to laziness -lack of attitude and... ...more

Q.How many asanas are there in Hathayogpradeepika ?

The entire pradipika is divided into four part -yamas -niyamas -asan and -food in all the text contain 390 verses/floras.Out of these 40 deal with asanas,110 deal with pranayma,150 with mudra,bandhas and satkarmas and rest with pratyahara dharana dhyana samadhi
