IIT Entrance paper has always been analytical concept based and full of Hybrid questions i.e. intermixing of concepts from different chapters. For instance the block in spring mass pendulum is given charge and placed in an Electric field. This is mixing of concepts ftom 11th and 12th chapters. For more details kindly read the review of my students who cracked IIT Advanced . Questions asked specially in Advanced paper are always newly framed by IIT Profs and are never picked up directly from any book. So rot learning makes no sense for this exam. Nevertheless foundation for IIT prep is undoubtedly School text book. Most important thing in cracking any exam is to understand the pattern of the question paper.

"I took classes from Rajeev sir from 2004 to 2006 and joined DCE (now DTU) in 2006. When I joined, I was an average student who barely managed 80% in class X while my friends scored 90%+. He has played a crucial role in shaping my personality.Two qualities set him apart. First, his strong focus on fundamentals: getting to the root cause of problems. Physics to me is a way of life.
