Teaching Experience in detail in Vocal Music classes
I am a Visharad in Hindustani Classical Music - Vocals and a Madhyama Dvitiya in Hindustani Classical Instrumental - Tabla. I have been trained and still getting trained in my never ending classical journey under Pt. Dr. Ram Deshpande Ji parampara, predominantly focussed on Gwalior Gharana singing. I also play instruments such as Guitar and Piano, however my main instrument is vocals. I am also well versed with Western theory and utilise the knowledge to correlate western music with Indian classical well to enhance your learning. If you are looking for a bright career in music, be it Bollywood or Indian classical, you can definitely reach out to me. My approach of teaching is extremely structured and it begins with a voice culture program to enhance your voice capabilities to adapt to the singing style of Indian classical as well as bollywood. That includes assurance of your sur and taal to be intact in addition to voice enhancement. Once you attain a certain level of comfort in that, is when the entire Raaga based learning begins. This is the standard approach that we follow within our Guruji's paramparic learning and it can do wonders is what I can assure you. I currently have multiple students learning from me for a few years and I hope to pass on the knowledge to many more in order to ensure that we have great artists created in the music world.

"I have been learning vocals from Raghav for about a year now. He is someone who goes into every detail to help us understand our weak areas and provide a customised approach on how to improve upon those weak areas. Over this time I experienced fast growth in my understanding of sur and taal and music in general. Having a broad experience in Indian and western music, working on different music projects as a music producer as well as a singer, he is a go-to person who can guide us in the right direction. "

"I have been training under Raghav for 6 months in music production. Given his strong foundation in Indian and western classical, industry experience in working for various projects, he is someone who gives us a broader perspective on how to approach music and music production. So in addition to teaching music production, he also trained me on how to develop my basics and complementary skills to do well in music production. He is very friendly as well as strict when it is needed. You can always discuss your concerns just like your friend. At the same time, he always ensures my steady growth in music my motivating & pushing me to do come up with my best. I highly recommend Raghav to anyone who is serious about music. "

"I have been learning for almost 2 years, and have observed a steady growth in my learning curve. Both voice culture and knowledge of the intricacies of any raag, have contributed to the overall development of my craft and belief in my own potential. The perfect balance of strictness and transparency to the point where one can freely express their doubts is imperative to Raghav bhai's teaching process which truly makes him an ideal teacher. "

My suggestion is to be a guitar that can be used from essential to intermediate level, to have longevity on your investment on the guitar. And a guitar with an AMP connection is a plus. You can look at Fender or Yamaha. The range will be in 10-15k, but it will last for a long, long time even when you advance in guitar skills.

If you are talking about Hindustani Classical singers, there are many. Including Late Kishori Amonkar Ji,Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Ji, Dr. Pt. Ram Deshpande Ji, Pt. Jasraj Ji.
It is not wise to associate anybody with the best title, because they are all peculiar and bring something different to the classical music fraternity. They are all the best in their own style.
Indian Classical Music is a deep study. One that can impact your life positively in significant ways and enhance your musical career. There are many forms of gayaki in it. So you may end up liking a particular gayaki of someone slightly more than the other. It is purely subjective. Best of luck listening to the above.
