Hello, This is Prateek.
This is a very good age for her to start. Please prefer to go for Indian classical music training because that is more systematic and productive to learn singing rather than just learning bollywood songs.
Also give your kid time of couple of years to get mature enough to show the growth she has made in that time. Please be kind and try not to judge a lot if she is able to a lot of progress or not. Let her just enjoy doing music first. Then gradually music will be added to her lifestyle.
I am sharing this with my personal teaching experience with my kid students.

You can improve your singing skills by studying vocal foundations with a good teacher. And by learning classical music, you can enhance your musicality and vocal techniques, which are necessary to sing any genre of any music.
