Well German and french are the language which are easy to learn compared to japanese and more people are into that

The language is divided in levels
N5 which is basic to N1 which is advance
Japanese government takes JLPT(Japanese language proficiency test) two times in year. (July and December)
Each part can be learned in 3months to 6 months depending on speed of learner.
There are 3 scripts in japanese language
1.Hiragana
2. Katakana
3. Kanji
Katakana and Hiragana are easier to learn since they can be repeated but kanji alone is a script where each kanji habe its unique reading and meaning which is hard to learn easily but once you are used to it it'll be more useful than other 2...
Well total time that takes to learn Japanese from
N5-N3 is 1and half year which is enough to get job
N5-N1 is will take 2 and half to 3 years but will be more of worth...
