Jitendra Kumar

I’m a young historian by training and want to make academics my career. After completing my schooling in Bihar, I moved to Delhi to pursue my higher education. I studied history in graduation at Delhi College of Arts and Commerce and then completed my post-graduation in Modern History from the University of Delhi. After that, I joined Jawaharlal Nehru University for my MPhil and PhD. I also did PG Diploma in Rural Development from IGNOU. I presented my research papers at several national and international seminars and conferences organised by Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Indian History Congress, and Gujarat National Law University etc. My research work entitled “Agrarian Issues, Peasant Movements, and the Congress Politics in Bihar is published by NMML in its occasional paper in 2020. I also received field grants from the Indian Council of Historical Research (New Delhi) to conduct fieldwork for completing my MPhil and PhD research.
