Dr. Sumitran Basu

I am a practicing medical doctor. I am presently working as Radiologist in a hospital in New Delhi.

I have passed both MBBS and MD from two government medical colleges - MBBS from RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata and MD (Radiodiagnosis) from Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, also in Kolkata. I have also two years of experience as Senior Resident in Radiology in Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital in Delhi. I also have experience in biomedical research and have two joint international publications in neuro-biochemistry. In my MBBS, I was awarded Senior Class Assistant in Pharmacology and Junior Class Assistant in Microbiology. I was also awarded Honours (>75% marks) in Community Medicine in 3rd Professional MBBS (Part I).

I am passionate about teaching medicine, especially to undergraduate students in MBBS. I am adept in teaching Physiology, Pathology, Medicine, Microbiology and Community Medicine to undergraduate students pursuing MBBS degree.
