I am currently pursuing a B.A. English Honours degree from Miranda House, Delhi University. As a student, I am currently working to widen my horizons towards scopes of professional internship/ part-time job opportunities in and around the publishing and teaching industry.
I have a multilingual background with my parents migrating for work. Due to which, I have had the opportunity to grow in the linguistic cultures of both Kerala and Delhi. Along with which, I have been studying English and Japanese through reputed educational institutions. I achieved a meritorious result in the Japanese-language Certificate Course offered by the University of Delhi (328/400 - with distinction), and thus am pursuing with the Diploma Course for the same.
I currently also hold the position of President for BlueQuill, the English Creative Writing Society of Miranda House. The various activities of the Society has allowed me to keep a distinct eye at English writing, grammar, and vocabulary. This ha also helped me hone my management and leadership skills better.
I believe teaching a language would allow me to bring someone closer to cultures I have been living in.
