With over two and a half years of experience, a Master's degree in school counselling psychology from Symbiosis, and a Bachelor's degree in fine arts from London, I am passionate about helping children overcome after-school stress. My goal is to provide drawing and painting classes that enhance their artistic skills and improve their mental well-being through stress-free workshops.
For the past two years, I have been offering freelance home tuition, and now I want to expand my reach by organising workshops that children can attend alongside me. I teach various art forms in these workshops, including painting and drawing. I cover multiple mediums and styles, from acrylic painting to mixed media painting, charcoal techniques to watercolour painting, and pastel painting to colour theory. I aim to expose children to different art forms, allowing them to explore their creativity and develop their unique artistic voices.
Classes are available online and offline, offering flexibility to cater to different learning preferences. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour, ensuring children can easily fit it into their schedule. The classes are designed to be interactive and engaging, providing a platform for children to participate and learn from one another actively.
During live sessions, I assign tasks that children can complete in class. This hands-on approach allows them to apply the techniques and concepts learned immediately. It also encourages them to express their thoughts and emotions through art, promoting self-expression and self-discovery. My ultimate aim is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow without the pressure of grades or performance.
