Children as young as 5 or 6 can start learning Kathak, as long as they have the motor skills to handle basic movements. However, there's no upper age limit; anyone with passion and dedication can begin at any age, adjusting the pace of learning accordingly.

The right age to learn Kathak is 7 plus if your child is active, you can start at the age of 6 because understanding the theory notes is also important. Your kid should understand everything, so the age of 7 is perfect.
