The core differences does exist among both softwares. Illustrator works on layers to manage the masking, colors etc., Where CorelDraw has not required to do so. It is user friendly software comparative with illustrator. Illustrator has more advance features than coreldraw. Interms of color management Illustrator provides smooth color sense than Corel. By Corel artist cannot archive the colors smoothly as must as illustrator does. Illustrator also best interacts with photoshop as an when we can double click on psd in illustrator and edit it in photoshop and when you save it'll auto updates in illustrator. Illustrator has color blending options along with the object in very efficient manner. For good detail work illustrator provides well than Coreldraw. Although I use CorelDraw for fast productivity as per the requirement. read less
