It will be more difficult due to the consistent decrease of vacancies and given the competition of the day... The question paper will be more on the tougher side. Otherwise, it is always the same when it comes to the unpredictability of the exam and it might be conducted online in a few years.  UPSC has its name for its standard of conducting exam so perfectly that it will also remain the same but the results being published earlier than before. 

UPSC is an exam conducting body in India deriving it's powers from the Indian Constitution. It conducts various exams especially for the ones which give Officer level positions under the Govt of India/States. Among the exams conducted... Civil Services exam as commonly referred to the UPSC exam.. gives an opportunity to serve or become as an IAS or IPS or IFS etc ... directly and one needs a Undergraduation degree having also attained an age of 21 to attempt this exam. 

Even if you attempt one of the two papers in prelims... Then it is counted as an attempt.

Moreover, the number of attempts for each communal category varies such as 6 attempts for General category, 9 for Obc and unlimited for Sc/St and Pwd but these number of attempts are restricted towards an upper age. Beyond such ages for each category no attempts are allowed.
