Communication skills refer to an individual's ability to effectively share information, thoughts & feelings with others. It is a two-way process wherein what you express is clearly understood by the other person.

Poor communication skills are when an individual cannot express themselves properly, leading to a variance between what is said & what was understood.

Good communication skills are not inherent and can be acquired & mastered at any point in time!

Contrary to what most people will tell you, poor communication usually begins with poor listening skills. Start there and the rest will fall into place. A good grasp of the subject being communicated is also helpful.
