(i) It is obvious from the graph that since Velocity (v) lies on Y-axis and line B has the highest point along Y-axis it is having the higher velocity under comparison (ii) The reason is Slope. Slope = y/x and if you calculate for both the curve you will find the slope for line B more compared to Line...

(ii) The reason is Slope. Slope = y/x and if you calculate for both the curve you will find the slope for line B more compared to Line A for the same X and Y co-ordinates

If force is acting on a moving body perpendicular to the direction of motion, then what will be its effect on the speed and direction of the body?
The magnitude of velocity shall decrease and direction shall be same till it comes to rest, afterwards it shall move in direction of force with acceleration due to the applied force.

An elevator weighs 3000kg. What is its acceleration when the in the tension supporting cable is 33000N. Given that g = 9.8m/s2.
M = 3000 kg g = 9.8 m/s² T = 33000 a = ? Ma = Mg - T 3000 * a = 3000 * 9.8 - 33000 3000a = 29400 - 33000 3000a = - 3600 a = - 1.2 m/s².
