The constitution is a document having a set of basic rules which are essential to governing a country. Our Indian Constitution initially had 395 articles,22 parts and eight schedules. Since then it had undergone 100 amendments. It was made by Constituent assembly in the supervision of Dr.Rajender Prasad, who was the permanent chairperson of Constituent Assembly. Our constituent assembly initially had 299 members but after the division of India 289 were left. Our constitution finally completed on 26 Nov 1949 but implemented on 26 Jan 1950. The idea of a cabinet mission framed the Constituent Assembly. In which every article was debated except Universal Suffrage.
