For some verbs which end with the letter o, es comes in third person singular number of present simple tense. For other verbs s comes. Ex. Go changes to goes, do changes to does. Etc.But look changes to looks, play changes to plays etc.

S/es is only Added with a verb when subject is singular and third person pronoun...but there is an exception that I is singular but we can't add s/es with verb..
