sin (A/2)= 1/2 =sin (A/2)=sin (30°)=sin(180-30) A/2= 30° or 150° A= 60° or 300° sin(A)=sin (60°)=√3/2 sin(A)=sin (300°)=sin(360°+ -60°)=sin(-60°)=-sin (60°)=(-√3)/2 sin A= ±(√3/2) formula used: sin x= sin(180°-x) sin (360°...

sin (A/2)= 1/2

=sin (A/2)=sin (30°)=sin(180-30)

A/2= 30° or 150°

A= 60° or 300°

sin(A)=sin (60°)=√3/2

sin(A)=sin (300°)=sin(360°+ -60°)=sin(-60°)=-sin (60°)=(-√3)/2

sin A= ±(√3/2)

formula used:

sin x= sin(180°-x)

sin (360° +x)=sin(x)

sin(-x)=-sin(x)

SinA = Opp/hyptoneuse CosA = Base/Hyp so Cos A = sqrt3/2 SinA = 1/2 Opposite side = 1 Hyp side =1 2 By pythogeras theorem, Base=sqrt(Hyp^2 - Opp^2) Base = sqrt(4 - 1) Base = sqrt3

SinA=1/2 but Sin30°=1/2 hence A=30° CosA=cos30°=√3/2

Sin^A + Cos^A=1...so if SinA= 1/2..then Sin^A= 1/4..so Cos^A= 3/4...Hence Cos A=sqrt3/2

Cards, marked with numbers 5 to 50, are placed in a box and mixed throughly. A card is drawn from teh box at random. Find the probability that the number on the taken out card is: (i) a prime number less than 10. (ii) a number which is a perfect square." "
The sample size is 46 (i) The prime numbers less than 10 are 5 and 7. so the probability is 2/46 or 1/23. (ii) The perfect squares are 9,16,25, 36 and 49-five in all so the probability is 5/46
