Answer There are different kinds of soils which are formed by different actions caused in environment, few kinds like aluvial soil and lacustrine soils are formed by water action. Aluvial soil is deposited over river bed and lacustrine is over the lakes. Rocks present around rivers and lakes goes through continuous rubbing action by stream of water due to which it decomposes and the end converts into soil.
