Question Tags:

1) Question Tags are used to check or clarify the information.

2) They consists of an auxilary or modal verb + subject pronoun.

The subject can be of any gender, person or thing.

E.g. Neha is selfish, isn't she?

Here Neha is subject and the sentence 'Neha is selfish' is positive and the tag is negative.

Always remember:

If the sentence is positive then the question tag will be negative.

If the sentence is negative then the question tag will be positive.

Few more examples:

1) It is cold, isn't it?

2) It isnot warm, is it?

       (-)               (+)
