The atmosphere in Pashupatinath is very noisy. People push each other to touch the idol of the God. There are lot of monkeys found near the temple and they live in harmony with human beings. Whereas the atmosphere in Baudhnath is full calm. As it is dedicated to Lord Buddha, the monks believe in meditation. There is no chaos near it.

The atmosphere in Pashupatinath Temple is very loud, and it can get on people's nerves. People often jostle with each other to touch the idol. Monkeys are common at temples in India and Nepal.They live in not-so-perfect harmony with human beings. People don't bother them because of the Hindu God Hanuman. It's common for hawkers to try to trick tourists at places like Pashuptinath Temple.
