For any body to move in a circular path , there exist a force without which it cannot move in circular path.

Just imagine you are holding a ball tied with rope and you are rotating it in a circular path.

You will feel one force on your hand . Right ?

Similarly ball is also facing one force towards centre.

The force directed towards centre is called centipetal force.

And force which acts on you hand in radial outward direction is kind of pseudo force known as centrifugal force
