If you want to fill 1000 L of water then you need a tank not a glass. Similarly to understand concepts of physics you need to enhance your perception and visualization.

I would suggest before you start understanding concepts of physics you make a strong base in basic maths which is used in physics.

After that is done you bifurcate a given chapter into max 10 Q in such a way that it covers almost everything related to that particular chapter. 

Then you try & connect those questions to daily scenario.

Making Mind-Maps is a great add-on. Visualise teaching those concept to another person. If you can do that, you're clear on that concept. And this whole process be honest to yourself.
