The primary distinction between a businessman and an entrepreneur lies in their mindset and approach to business. A businessman typically operates within established models, concentrating on stable operations and incremental growth. In contrast, an entrepreneur thrives on innovation and risk-taking, often venturing into unexplored territories to create new ventures or introduce novel ideas. While a businessman focuses on the efficient management of existing businesses, an entrepreneur is driven by a vision for long-term growth, adaptability to change, and the pursuit of innovative solutions with the potential for high scalability and impact.

Hello,

I have been both. A Businessman & an Entrepreneur. Here is the difference in my experience.

Businessman takes the disciplined first approach to problems whereas a successful entrepreneur takes creativity first approach to problems of the world. Both try to solve problems the world is facing but in their own ways.

Second difference is the expected responsibility from the profiles. Businessmen are more focused and respect time whereas Entrepreneurs like Elon musk focus more on creative aspects and feelings.

Lastly, Businessman works with logic and profits as priorities in mind and entrepreneur brings the feelings and problems on the table.
